M. Wyatt Burk
M. Wyatt Burk concentrates his practice in the areas of Creditors’ Rights, Foreclosures, Real Estate transactions, Personal Injury Law, Family Law and Adoption, Wills/Estate planning, Probate and Conservatorship, and general Business Law.
Mr. Burk represents financial institutions and borrowers in loan transactions involving all forms of collateral and in all aspects of the litigation process, including collections, as well as bankruptcy proceedings.
Mr. Burk received his Bachelor of Science in Banking and Finance from the University of Tennessee in 2004. In 2008, he earned his Juris Doctor from the Nashville School of Law.
Mr. Burk is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association and Bedford County Bar Association and is admitted to practice before all Tennessee State Courts, as well as the Federal District Court of the Middle District of Tennessee, and the Federal District Court of the Eastern District of Tennessee.
In addition to his law practice, Mr. Burk has been active in the community. He currently serves on many boards assisting others around the Bedford County area, such as the Shelbyville/Bedford County Community Clinic; Chairman, First Choice Pregnancy Counseling Center; Board of Directors of the Child Development Center; Finance Chairman & Deacon, Calvary Baptist Church.
